After graduating from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Robyn Sarajinsky joined the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra. She then travelled overseas to study violin with Ramy Shevalov.

Upon returning to Australia, Mrs Sarajinsky joined the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra before moving to Sydney to become a permanent member of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. In recent years, she has given chamber music recitals with other string players and pianists.

Mrs Sarajinsky teaches violin and piano to students of different ages to prepare them for AMEB exams and for auditions with the Sydney Youth Orchestra, the Australian Youth Orchestra and other ensembles. She has twice travelled to Myanmar to give tutorials in string playing at the Gitameit Music School in Yangon and also tutored a string orchestra in preparation for a public performance in Myanmar.

Mrs Sarajinsky has been an adjudicator for strings at various eisteddfods. Her community work includes playing for a variety of musical productions.
