A graduate of the NSW Conservatorium of Music, Sydney Teachers’ College, and the Australian International Conservatorium of Music, Robyn Lenn has many years of experience as a high school music teacher and as a piano teacher.

In her years at Sydney Boys High School, Sydney Girls High School, Crows Nest Boys High School and Chatswood High School, Mrs Lenn’s special interest was the training of orchestras and chamber ensembles. As a private teacher, she has taught piano, musicianship and theory in her studio and at Masada High School.

Mrs Lenn has been involved in adult music education since the 1980s, first as tutor for the Sydney University Centre for Continuing Education and now as tutor for the Workers’ Educational Association. In 2000, she produced and published the course P Is for Piano and All That Jazz. As part of her work in adult education, she has lectured in music throughout regional New South Wales.

An experienced adjudicator of many junior music festivals and regional eisteddfods, Mrs Lenn has also designed and presented workshops and masterclasses.

Mrs Lenn received the OAM for her community volunteer work.
