Margaret Greig has extensive experience as a teacher of piano, music theory and musicianship. She earned her teaching degree at the University of Sydney, her graduate diploma in creative and performing arts at the University of New South Wales, and her master’s degree in music therapy at the University of Technology Sydney.

Before taking on the ownership and management of a large music school, Ms Greig was a school teacher. After working in the area of special education, she moved into a specialist music teaching role and also served as a district music coordinator in the Hills area. During her teaching career, Ms Grieg was recognised as a Teacher of Excellence for her services to music education.

Miss Greig has extensive experience in training and conducting choirs, school bands and instrumental ensembles, for which she often arranged or composed music. She was a producer, conductor and accompanist for music and arts festivals for combined schools in the Northern Beaches, Northern Suburbs and Hills school districts.

In her spare time, Miss Greig plays violin, flute, guitar, ukulele and saxophone. In particular, she enjoys playing piano duets for four hands and travels regularly to the United States to perform with her duet partner in private concerts.

Currently, Miss Greig teaches, manages school operations, and provides training and mentoring to her staff. She is also a regular accompanist for eisteddfods and examinations.
