Erzsi Marosszeky was awarded scholarships to study at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and the Sydney Conservatorium. She furthered her studies with a Friedlander Fellowship from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory.

Ms Marosszeky has performed and recorded in Europe, the United States and Australia. She has extensive experience as a piano teacher and as a choral conductor and is currently Assistant Conductor for the Macquarie Singers in Sydney. Ms Marosszeky has directed choirs including Sydney Voices, Men of Note, Knox Grammar School Gallery Choir, Kappella Chamber Choir and Macquarie Singers. She has organised and participated in music festivals for choirs and piano performance, including the Sydney Festival, the Sydney Spring Festival, the Cheltenham Festival, the Vitasaari Contemporary Music Festival, and London Proms at Royal Albert Hall.

In addition to running a busy private teaching studio, Ms Marosszeky conducts consultations for advanced students and professional development sessions for teachers. She has coached ensembles at the Conservatorium High School, run masterclasses at tertiary institutions in Australia, and worked as a répétiteur for Opera Australia and the Opera School at the Sydney Conservatorium.

Ms Marosszeky has collaborated with the Hungarian Radio Children’s Choir, the Ntaria Ladies Choir in Hermannsburg, and many other ensembles. She ran a six-week music workshop at an orphanage in Bali.
