Jason Noble has been a member of Australia's leading new music ensemble Ensemble Offspring for more than 15 years. The ensemble has performed at festivals such as Warsaw Autumn, Shanghai New Music, and the Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide Festivals. At the AMC and APRA Art Music Awards, they have twice been awarded Best Performance of an Instrumental Work, and Outstanding Contribution by an Organisation.

In 2017, Mr Noble released a solo album of new Australian music for clarinets called Chi's Cakewalk, which was subsequently given a five star review by Limelight Magazine. He has also recorded albums with Ensemble Offspring, Halcyon, Gurrumal, Holly Seltmann, and the Tiwi women's choir Ngarukuruwala.

Recently, his performing highlights have included curating a Musica Viva Sessions concert with violinist Veronique Serret, the Sydney season of Wizard of Oz, and appearances with the improvising bass clarinet trio Lacuna.

Mr Noble has taught at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, UNSW, Moriah College, Trinity Grammar, Sydney Boys High, North Sydney Boys High and Bellevue Hill Public School. He has travelled twice to Kabul, Afghanistan to teach and perform at the Afghanistan National Institute of Music, and now continues to give skype lessons to some of these students studying in Afghanistan. Mr Noble has been an aural tutor for Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Gondwana Voices, and developed syllabus for these institutions. He has also run a private studio for more than 20 years, teaching clarinet and saxophone.
Mr Noble produced and presented a program for Fine Music radio station, New Australian Music for the HSC. This program helps students and teachers source Australian music for performance in HSC music courses.
