After graduating from the University of Sydney, Elizabeth Green studied at the Royal College of Music, London and the Juilliard School, New York.
She has performed as a piano soloist, soloist with orchestra, duo pianist, chamber music pianist, and accompanist in the USA, UK and Australia, including broadcasts as piano and harpsichord soloist and in chamber music for the ABC. Ms Green has released recordings of Australian piano music under the Biodiversity label.
As well as teaching piano privately in the US, UK and Australia, Ms Green has tutored piano majors at the University of Sydney, University of New South Wales, University of Western Sydney and University of Wollongong, with a particular interest in students studying pedagogy. She currently serves as adjunct lecturer in piano at UNSW and is an advisor and teacher trainer for Prima Piano.
Ms Green has many years' experience in piano teaching at all levels, with specialisation in piano technique and the training of piano teachers to set up and maintain their own practices.
She has been examining for the AMEB for many years and has assisted with the training of AMEB examiners.
