Shirley Frumar has been a performing artist for more than 35 years. She has performed as a soloist with orchestras and with chamber groups, including piano trios, quartets and quintets.

A specialist in chamber music for advanced students, Mrs Frumar has worked throughout New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory for school performance programs. She has also worked as a répétiteur for musical productions and as an accompanist for vocal and instrumental performances and competitions.

In addition to maintaining a private studio where she teaches students of diverse ages, Mrs Frumar is staff accompanist and piano tutor at Moriah College and piano tutor at The Scots College. She also works with primary and secondary string orchestra programs.
