Alison Cameron has over 30 years of experience as a freelance pianist, accompanist and harpsichordist in Australia, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom. She has worked extensively as an associate artist for recordings, broadcasts, recitals, examinations, and national and international competitions. Ms Cameron has been an opera répétiteur, choral and instrumental conductor, director and rehearsal pianist for musicals, and eisteddfod adjudicator.

Ms Cameron was a piano teacher, musicianship teacher and accompanist at Ascham School for 22 years, including 10 years as head of keyboard. As a classroom music teacher, she has taught students from Year 3 to Year 12 in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She now teaches piano and musicianship to all ages and levels in her private studio.

In her spare time, Ms Cameron donates her accompaniment skills to community choirs and theatrical ensembles. She also enjoys playing cello and recorder.
