Holly Riva Moore achieved her AMusA for Musical theatre in 2025, which was the culmination of 11 years of music studies in NSW, during which she received 10 AMEB certificates for her studies across three different subjects.
In 2023, Holly won the World Music category of the USA John Lennon Songwriting Contest (JLSC), which led to work with Indian percussion icon Bickram Ghosh (a collaborator of both George Harrison and Ravi Shankar), combining modern dance production with traditional tabla and sitar.
Soon after achieving her AMEB Musical theatre diploma last year, Holly moved overseas to seek her fame and fortune.
Since moving to London, she has already written two songs for a West End musical, and she is teaching musical theatre to talented adults while managing her burgeoning career in dark pop and alt-dance music.
She wrote to us recently: “I’m loving living in London. I am using my valuable studies with AMEB and my teacher Dr Elizabeth Willis’ guidance as a foundation to help me live my dream as a singer songwriter.”
Holly is now managed by Bill Kimber, a music industry veteran, former head of A&R at RCA UK, and a key figure in the early success of Eurythmics.
Her 2025 single ‘Feel It Comin’ spent 3 consecutive weeks in the UK Commercial Pop Club Top 10 and in the Australian ARIA Club Charts, while another single ‘So Vanilla’ spent 5 weeks on the Music Week UK Commercial Pop Club Charts. She was also featured recently as BBC Introducing’s Artist of the Week.
Her recordings have been featured on Netflix, including the U.S. No. 1 streaming series, The Hunting Wives, and the globally successful series, Old Money. She has also written music for major broadcasts including Tour de France 2025, Home and Away, The Bachelor, Fox TV and Australian Idol.
We wish Holly every success for the versatile and exciting path she is carving for herself in the music industry here and abroad.
