Advancing grades are the first steps toward professional success in the contemporary music world. Advancing Step 1 is suitable for young teens through to adults. Candidates should have several years of tuition before enrolling. Similar to Grade 5 standard in other AMEB syllabuses. Assessments are comprehensive and need 8 to 12 months of preparation.
