    Spotlight on AMEB alumni

AMEB (NSW) examiners are professionals in their field and are active in the Australian and international arts community. AMEB (NSW) examiners include renowned:

  • performers
  • composers
  • educators.

All examiners undergo an induction, training and a two year probationary period. This ensures they can conduct quality examinations and provide detailed, informative reports. AMEB (NSW) examiners must also hold a NSW Government Working With Children Check (WWCC). Once appointed, examiners attend regular workshops to ensure uniform exam standards and procedures are followed.

Undertaking an examination can be a stressful experience for some candidates. AMEB (NSW) examiners understand this. Their role is to assess the quality of performance presented for examination. They have a genuine desire to encourage the interest and talent of each candidate.
