Jennifer Binovec graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2004 with Dean’s Honours. During her studies, she performed regularly with the Conservatorium’s major ensembles.

Ms Binovec has more than 15 years of teaching experience. She is currently the Deputy Director and Head of Woodwind, Brass and Percussion at the Riverina Conservatorium of Music, where she also teaches clarinet and saxophone. Ms Binovec is involved in the reworking of the Conservatorium’s woodwind and brass curriculum. She is also engaged in redesigning and supporting a workable and progressive band program model for primary schools.

In 2012, Ms Binovec moved to Prague and spent four years teaching, performing and travelling extensively throughout Europe and beyond. She has also performed with the New Zealand Opera Orchestra and is actively involved in chamber music, frequently performing at events and festivals throughout New South Wales.

Ms Binovec directs a wide range of junior and more advanced ensembles that regularly perform at community events in regional New South Wales. She is also involved with the NSW School Band Festival.
