To avoid penalty fees, the enrolling person must check any commitments the student may have within the advertised exam period BEFORE completing the enrolment. We suggest that you print this page and give it to your student.
AMEB exams may be scheduled during school holidays and on long weekends that fall within the exam period.
Advise exam dates to avoid when filling in the ‘Scheduling Request’ section of your AMEB exam enrolment when you enrol.
The enroller should use the AMEB Important Dates checklist to ensure they have all the information they need before they enrol a student in an exam.

The following public holidays occur during the exam year for 2025 exams in NSW/ACT:
- Friday 18 April Good Friday
- Saturday 19 April Easter Saturday
- Sunday 20 April Easter Sunday
- Monday 21 April Easter Monday
- Friday 25 April Anzac Day
- Monday 9 June King's Birthday
- Monday 6 October Labour Day
