Cassandra Lagettie studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of Maree Ryan, earning a bachelor of music education with a distinction in singing.

Mrs Lagettie maintains a career as a singer and teacher. She has performed as a soloist internationally and within Australia in classical and musical theatre genres. Among others, she has performed with Rob Guest. Mrs Lagettie appeared at the Sydney Conservatorium Centenary Festival and at the Queen’s Baton Relay Celebrations for the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in 2018. She is a member of the Coffs Harbour Musical Comedy Company.

For the past 30 years, Mrs Lagettie has maintained a private teaching studio for singers of all ages. An adjudicator and voice consultant, she also presents vocal workshops. Mrs Lagettie is a technique specialist with particular interests in teenage voices, ageing voices and vocal health. She enjoys sharing her knowledge with singers in regional areas.

As well as performing and teaching, Mrs Lagettie organises concerts and provides entertainment and vocal coaching for local community events, nursing homes, support services, musical societies, church groups and schools.
