Speech & Drama syllabus changes
AMEB (NSW) has updated the practical Speech & Drama syllabuses. Candidates can choose from:
- Speech & Performance - an updated version of the popular Drama & Performance syllabus. It explores drama and interpretation for the individual performer, covering a variety of dramatic styles developing performance skills in voice and movement.This syllabus offers diplomas in teaching and performing.
- Drama & Communication - a Performance Syllabus revised to include individual students as well as examining duos and groups. You can select from three different program structures to design and develop your performances as learning and entertainment.
- Voice & Communication focuses on nurturing a variety of transferable skills for life including presentation and interview skills, vocal clarity, confidence and eloquent interpersonal communication. Individual candidates may choose to be examined in a group format with an other candidates.
