Exams - Additional Requirements 2009
In the following practical examinations, an additional written examination is required. Please note that the additional requirements have changed from previous years. The additional requirement need not be completed before the principal examination, but until both are passed, the examination is incomplete, and no certificate will be awarded. Additional requirements for Diploma examinations must be completed by no later than the end of the next calendar year following the completion of the practical examination, otherwise the practical section must be re-examined.

Speech and Drama Prerequisite Requirements
For CSCA, ASDA, ADPA, LSDA, LDPA and FSDA examinations, candidates must pass a prerequisite examination which is regarded as a qualifying examination before entering for the principal examination. In all cases, the stated prerequisite is the minimum requirement. It is the responsibility of the candidate to provide notification as to the date of passing the prerequisite requirement, and the centre at which the examination was held.
A degree or diploma in Speech and Drama from a recognised Australian or overseas tertiary institution, will be deemed to have met the prerequisite for CDPA Drama and Performance, ADPA Drama and Performance, LDPA Drama and Performance and FSDA Speech and Drama. Evidence of such qualification(s) and supporting material are to be supplied to the relevant State Office at the time of entry for the examination.

Late Enrolment Fees - All Examinations
A late enrolment fee will apply if the enrolment form and cheque/money order/credit card authorisation are not received or postmarked by the advertised closing date. Please note that late fees are not refundable. The AMEB (NSW) is not responsible for delays caused by the postal services. Teachers are therefore advised to submit enrolment forms in good time.
- Up to one week late – $10.00 per candidate
- More than one week late – $55.00 per candidate
