Elizabeth Green

Elizabeth Green studied piano, violin and harpsichord at the Juilliard School in New York and the Royal College of Music in London, as well as completing degrees in music and in linguistics at Sydney University. She has performed widely as soloist, duo pianist and accompanist, especially for lieder of the Romantic era. She is an artistic director of the Liszt Schumann society in Sydney. She has released several CDs of Australian piano music in the Biodiversity series. A CD of Australian duet and duo piano music with Daniel Herscovitch will be released in 2015. She has taught for the Universities of Sydney, NSW, Western Sydney, Wollongong and Macquarie. She has examined for the AMEB since the early 1980s and currently teaches in King St, Sydney. She is adjunct lecturer in piano at the University of New South Wales.
